Kalua

Ingredients

• 4 cups sugar 
• 4 cups water 
• 3/4 cup instant (dry) coffee 
• 1 teaspoon chocolate syrup 
• 1 tablespoon vanilla 
• 1 5th Vodka 

Method 

Boil together 4 cups sugar and 4 cups water. 
Add 3/4 cup instant coffee and chocolate syrup. Cool---and add 1 tablespoon vanilla and Vodka. Pour mixture into a large jug. Store in a dark place. Pull jug out and shake well each day for three weeks. Can be poured into smaller container for easier storage or for a gift giving later. Shake before each use.
